Process of a mixing or mastering project:
Artist/label sends demo or premastered track to me.
I analyze the track(s). After checking the track’s premaster mixing and export quality I make an estimation on what has to be done.
The mastering price is based on the work that has to be done on submitted tracks, the amount of tracks (single, EP or Album with 8-10 tracks) and the time how fast the mastered results have to be delivered by me.
I do NOT charge by hour, only by final result of mastered tracks, ep, album.
I have a quick turnaround of maximum 36 hours from delivery of demo/premaster to final result.
I offer 2 revisions after delivery of mastering demos so artist can take influence on the process.
Thomas Vitali
Thomas Vitali, born 1980, is a mastering engineer, producer, artist and label owner for 20 years, based in Munich – Germany.
With over 2.000+ mastered tracks (700+ Releases worldwide) across many electronic genres, he knows exactly what lacks in a track or how it needs to be mastered for becoming a final release with a label in accordance to the high quality standards in music industry.
Because of his work as label manager he is aware of the A&R’s seeking standards and how a track must sound in the end to get accepted by a label.
His mixing and mastering expertise covers also more difficult projects such as orchestral and symphonic works.
When it comes to tracks with vocals (/raps) or live recorded instruments, he has the knowledge how it stands in front of the mix but still builds a homogenic element to the music.
